Came across your site from Pursue the Passion.

Anyways, I completely agree with you here. I remember when I was a kid and it seemed like summer would last forever. Don't get me wrong, in June I couldn't wait to take trips to the beach or play all day without a care in the world. However, I loved when September rolled around and we got to dig back in again.

I'm currently a rising junior (4th year) at Northeastern University. I think one of the best opportunities provided by a co-op program, aside from the ability to test out multiple career paths with no strings attached, has been the constant classroom exposure. Just as I'm getting bored with working 9-5, it's almost time to go back to class for July & August. We do get a break by only taking 2 classes in the summer (unlike the usual 4 in the fall). I feel like I'm constantly being challenged to learn new things and never really hit the full "summer brain" mode.

I do wish, though, that I could get out of this office while it's so gorgeous outside and go read by the pool!
