Helping you succeed.

American Career College, has been helping people succeed for over 30 years. Founded in 1978 as American College of Optics, the school became American Career College in 1993, to accommodate an expanding curriculum of medical assistant training and growing student population.

Many of our students graduate and find good entry level healthcare positions in their fields, because we offer many benefits to enhance their success: Qualified Faculty, Modern Facilities, Employer-Driven Curriculum, Medical Assistant Programs, and Placement Assistance.

The job placement assistance* service of American Career College is a vital part of our program. The Career Services Department is staffed with full-time placement professionals and offers students/graduates an active placement service, a key advantage among Los Angeles medical assistant schools. Although the securing of positions cannot be guaranteed by any educational institution, including American Career College, every avenue is pursued to assist students/graduates in obtaining desirable employment.
