In Bay State's two-year Associate Degree in Business Administration program, you'll gain a solid foundation in all aspects of business and practice, from organizational behavior and economics to management and accounting. • Criminal Justice - Associates and Bachelor's

The Bay State's Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice program will give you the historical and theoretical knowledge along with the practical skills you need to innovate and succeed in the criminal justice field, including:

• A broader understanding of criminal justice that focuses on world and social justice as well as domestic justice issues

"Our Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education will give you the in-depth preparation and experience you need to become a professional in the education and development of young children in just two years. And by studying here at Bay State, you'll also satisfy the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care guidelines for employment for child care centers, nurseries and preschools.

Through our program, you will develop a solid foundation in general studies as well as the theory and practice of effective childcare and development, through courses like:

• Entertainment Management - Associate and Bachelor's Degree

The mission of the Baccalaureate Degree in Entertainment Management at Bay State College is to provide students with a rich and diverse educational experience that balances studies in contemporary best practices, tenets and ethics of the entertainment industry, a generalized business curriculum, and traditional general education course work. Students will develop strong interpersonal communication skills as well as critical and analytical thinking skills. Students also will be prepared for a variety of careers in this increasingly global and complex entertainment industry.

• Entertainment Management - Audio Production Concentration - Associate and Bachelor's Degree

The mission of the Bachelor Degree program in Entertainment Management with a concentration in Audio Production is to prepare students for careers in all aspects of the audio field, including digital music, studio recording, and live and location sound. Students will combine both foundational and advanced audio production course work with specialized entertainment industry courses, general business courses, and a strong general education component. Students will develop their critical and creative thinking skills as they study the technical, artistic and scientific perspectives of audio production in a variety of entertainment, corporate and entrepreneurial settings.

• Fashion Design - Associate Degree

Our Fashion Design Associate degree is your on-ramp to the runway of the fashion design industry. While the program offers valuable general studies, your primary focus will be on:

• Completing creative courses like drawing, pattern and apparel design, couture details and fashion art.
• Exploring the shared techniques used in professional design studios.
• Evaluating merchandise production, fabric selection and marketing strategies.
• Developing the skills necessary to draft patterns to construct your own original fashion designs

The Fashion Design Associate Program at Bay State College provides fashion design students with the opportunity to combine artistic inspiration with technical expertise in order to develop their own personal style. Through a combination of design, construction, technical, and marketing classes, students are exposed to methods for creating, selling, and promoting their creations. It is the intent that this curriculum provides graduates the expertise to pursue fashion design careers or to transfer to Baccalaureate programs."

• Fashion Retail Merchandising - Associate Degree

Bay State's Associate's degree in Fashion Retail Merchandising will start by introducing you to the art and science of merchandising and the business of fashion. You'll learn about consumer behavior as it applies to design and market research. You'll study the impact of globalization on the fashion industry. And, you'll analyze retail management theories and techniques through class discussion—all in a creative and fun environment you don't find in many two-year college programs. The mission of the Associate Program in Fashion Retail Merchandising is to prepare students for professional careers in fashion business disciplines by providing teaching excellence in a curriculum that advances creativity, global awareness, and current business practices. Through a curriculum based on sequential learning and requirements in the areas of fashion merchandising, general education, and business classes, the Fashion Retail Merchandising program stresses analytical skills that allow students to understand the complex environment of fashion merchandising and marketing. Through Bay State's Health Studies program, you can explore a wide range of career options while building the foundation you need for a future in nursing, pre-med, dentistry, or other healthcare-related fields. In Bay State's Medical Assisting Associates Program, you'll work closely with professors who are practicing physicians and nurses at leading local hospitals like Massachusetts General Hospital, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Tufts Medical Center. You'll also benefit from 160 hours of clinical and administrative internships, gaining valuable real-world experience that will help you prepare to take the American Medical Technologists or American Association of Medical Assistants exams to become a certified medical assistant (CMA).

• Physical Therapist Assistant - Associate Degree

The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Associate of Science degree from Bay State College is perfect for anyone who wants a career that helps people regain movement and function—and that offers many opportunities for professional and personal growth. Our program is fully accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE). In addition to classroom and lab, all of our PTA students must participate in three 6-7 week clinical affiliations for a total of 240 hours of critical hands-on experience. The mission of the Bay State College Physical Therapist Assistant Program is to provide academic and clinical training leading to an associate degree in Physical Therapy for students who want to practice as Physical Therapist Assistants.
