Aesthetics Diploma(Vaughan campus only) Program Overview This program equips students with the essential skills required to work in today's fast-paced beauty industry and spa environment. Throughout the program focus is placed on professional image, code of ethics and the delivery of great guest care. In addition to all of the technical skills developed with instructor-led classes, a strong portion of the program ensures that practical application of subject matter is strictly followed. Students will gain knowledge in skin care and skills in a variety of services provided by spa therapists. An understanding of business management skills for salon and spas will also be covered. Laser Specialist Program Overview We are proud to deliver a high quality professional training program in advanced laser aesthetician. The Certificate program objective is to provide a practical and working knowledge of advanced, non- invasive cosmetic and aesthetic theory. We concentrate on delivering advanced skin care therapies by introducing you to new technologies being used currently in medical clinics.This is a comprehensive program specifically designed for skin care professionals to enhance their current skill sets to prepare for the fast paced medical environment. The focus of this program is to provide fundamental theory and practical components to ensure excellence is achieved while administering chemical peels, laser and radio frequency technologies, microdermabrasion and other advanced laser aesthetician therapies to treat a wide variety of skin imperfections. It provides you with indepth and detailed client care and consultation as well as successful business operations of a medical spa/clinic environment.
Make Up Program Overview This 40 hour program equips students with the basic knowledge necessary to recognize and use colour and colour combinations to enhance facial features. The students will be exposed to the various techniques and product applications currently used in the industry. In addition, the student may choose to acquire a full professional make-up kit complete with brushes for daytime, evening, bridal and fashion artistry use. A strong focus will be placed on client care. The program will address business and employment opportunities as well as day to day operations.
