Color by the Italians
We are an Italy Hairfashion Boutique school which means our color and coloring methods are from Italy. Not only will you learn the methods of the Italians but, you will also be learning to use one of the best hair color lines in the world.

Nails by O.P.I.
 We feel very fortunate to feature Nail Technology training and products by O.P.I. Not only are they the worlds leader in nail products but, they are in more countries than any other nail product. It just doesn't get any better than O.P.I.

Salon Business & Management
 Learning how to do hair, skin and nails is just the beginning of what it takes to be successful in this industry. You have to know the Business of the hair business. You will have the opportunity to learn from the owner Kurt Robinson, who will teach you his proven methods of sales, marketing and business management. His proven skills helped take one of his companies from zero in sales to over 80 million in less than three years.

Guest Artists
 It takes an entire industry to teach a student. Capelli brings in guest artists on a weekly basis. Artists come from all areas on the industry. These specialists share with you the secrets of their success.

Fashion Shows
Each year Capelli puts on two hair shows. One is our famous Celebrity Look-a-like contest. And the other is our fashion show. Students get to show off their creative side and demonstrate their skills and talents. Hair Shows
 Each year students earn their way to the Long Beach California International Salon and Spa show. In late January when it's snowy and cold in Utah, our students are on the beach and at the show. You won't want to miss it.

Design Team
 Capelli's elite design team travels the area putting on demonstration and performing services at beauty pageants, competitions and events. Each student will have the opportunity to qualify to make it on the design team. They are the best of the best.

Hair Extensions
 Your tuition includes education and certification in 4 different methods of hair extensions including: weft sew-in, micro bead, glue in and strand-by-strand. We just don't teach it, we practice it. Our students get many opportunities to practice this highly lucrative craft in our student salon.

COSMETOLOGY

The curriculum for students enrolled in our cosmetology course will meet or exceed minimums set by the state of Utah and include practical training and technical instruction covering all aspects of the industry.

Utah law requires a minimum of 2,000 hours of education and training before a student can graduate. A full-time student can complete the 2000 hours within 12 to 13 months. Part-time and night school students will take longer.

BARBERING

The Capelli Barber & Styling program offers training in the techniques and arts as they relate to men and women's hair cutting and styling. Also includes, men's shaving, massages, facial treatments, and trimming and styling the beard or mustache.

Students are trained in the basic skills required to perform barber duties and the theory. Students perform services in the salon clinic and on classroom mannequins. Students study the Utah State Laws governing the practices of barbering as well as the theory related to entry-level shop work.

Total course time: 1,000 Hours

Permanent Cosmetics

Permanent Cosmetics represent one of the fastest growing and lucrative areas within the beauty sector. Permanent Makeup as it's commonly called is an extremely rewarding field. Most individual services command between $200 and $400 each. Abundant job opportunities are available in Plastic Surgery offices, Dermatology Practices, Salons, Day Spas, or as a Sole Practitioner.
