Accounting
An increase in the number of businesses, changing financial laws and regulations, and increased scrutiny of company finances will spur the job growth of accountants and auditors. Increasingly, accountants also are assuming the role of a personal financial advisor. In response to market demand, these financial specialists will offer more financial management and consulting services as they take on a greater advisory role. In addition to openings resulting from growth, the need to replace accountants and auditors who retire or transfer to other occupations will produce further job openings.
The Bachelor of Science in Accounting (BSACC) degree program is designed to equip you with a variety of skills including corporate accounting, taxation, governmental and not-for-profit accounting, and auditing. This unique program also builds in skills training to prepare you with the knowledge required to not only become a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management accountant (CMA), but also prepare you to become a Certified Financial Planner (CFP).* In addition, the curriculum provides you with an opportunity to develop your intellectual, interpersonal and communication skills so that you can succeed in the business world.

The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a concentration in Management emphasizes practical competencies, creative leadership approaches and the development of critical thinking skills. The mission of Colorado Technical University's RN to BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) completion program is to:

In its modern form, project management is the art and practice of managing time-limited operations in terms of four constraints: time, cost, resources and specification. Intense global competition has intensified the importance of completing a project in the most effective and efficient manner, making project management the preferred management technique of many modern organizations.
Job candidates with the skills to identify priorities, organize assignments and deploy the resources to accomplish projects on time and on budget are in-demand. Project management has become one of the most sought-after skills in today's fast-paced, bottom-line-focused world.
CTU's Bachelor of Science in Project Management (BSPM) is based on the Project Management Institute's (PMI) Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK)-the recognized industry standard. You can build a strong base of practical applications and undergraduate foundational studies in areas such as English, math, social science and technology. You also can learn real-world project planning; time and conflict management; human resource management; risk analysis and management; CPM/PERT, Gantt and other scheduling techniques; an understanding of organizations, teams and processes; budgeting and cost control systems; Microsoft Project®; and procurement, contracting and negotiating.

The skills training to create, implement and maintain health information systems that satisfy these requirements are found in the Associate of Science in Medical Billing and Coding (AS-MBC) degree program. Criminal Justice
The fast-paced expansion of all areas of the criminal justice system is creating a demand for skilled workers as never before in local, state and federal systems, according to the U.S. Department of Labor. Today's criminal justice workforce must be knowledgeable and skilled in every component of the system to address the public's demand for protection and services. Educated and skilled individuals are needed, from the traditional roles of law enforcement, security and corrections, to work with victim advocacy, juveniles and social services.
The Associate of Science in Criminal Justice (ASCJ) degree program is designed to prepare you to enter the criminal justice profession in a variety of first-tier positions. You will be exposed to the foundational areas of the discipline: investigation and law enforcement, law and courts, and corrections and parole. The program also addresses juvenile delinquency and the juvenile justice system.

Surgical Technology
The objective of the Associate of Science in Surgical Technology (ASST) degree program is to provide students with the appropriate general education, theory and hands-on skills to begin or enhance a career in surgical technology.
The program is designed to prepare competent, entry-level surgical technologists in the cognitive (knowledge), psychomotor (skills), and affective (behavior) learning domains and to help satisfy the need for surgical technologists in local and regional communities.
The ASST program also includes hands-on experience through clinical rotations in operating rooms at local areas hospitals. Students can receive over 500 hours of clinical experience.
