Since its founding almost 70 years ago, the sole objective of Harrington College of Design has been to prepare graduates for an active interior design role in today's industry, while keeping an eye on tomorrow's human needs for responsible interior environments. Harrington College of Design, the premier of the interior design schools in Chicago, is focused on professional education in interior design programs and the process of creating interiors in all concentrations and institutional interior design. Previous training in art is not essential, as all necessary art courses are included in the curricula of our interior design programs. At Harrington College of Design, students may begin studies during the fall, spring or summer semesters.
