Business & Technology Administrative Professional
Prepare for a career in the ever-changing world of business & technology. Courses are designed to help teach you the skills you'll need as a business & technology administrative professional including Microsoft Office applications, web design, business management, computerized accounting, bookkeeping, internet marketing and more. As part of the Business & Technology program, students complete a supervised externship in an office that includes practicing the hands-on skills learned in the classroom.
Dental Assisting
Central Career School's Dental Assistant Program provides you with the knowledge and hands-on skills you need to assist a dentist in all phases of modern dental office operations.
You will possess the chairside skills and administrative knowledge needed to seek an entry-level position in either small or large dental practices.
Upon completion of the program, you will be eligible to sit for the dental radiography examination which is required by the NJ Department of Environmental Protection for issuance of a dental radiography license.
Medical Assistant
Get the preparation needed to become a knowledgeable entry-level medical assistant with the skills and understanding as a health care professional. Learn to work in ambulatory settings as well as perform administrative and clinical duties with courses that teach you the ability to execute important tasks. Study anatomy, medical terminology, medical records, medical insurance, electrocardiograms (EKG), phlebotomy and basic laboratory procedures and tests. As part of the Medical Assistant program, students complete a supervised clinical externship at a medical facility that includes practicing the hands-on skills learned in the classroom.
Medical Billing & Coding
Central Career School's Medical Billing & Coding Program provides you with the knowledge and hands-on skills required to function effectively in today's medical office environment.
You will focus specifically on the financial and insurance-related aspects of working in a modern medical office. You will be prepared to seek positions that require specialized knowledge of medical terminology and procedures, insurance billing and coding systems, computerized patient accounting, and computer skills and expertise.
