The Master Hypnotist certification -- 150 classroom hours -- is comprised of the history and basics of hypnosis. By completion of this certificate, students will have a basic understanding of hypnosis and will be able to perform a simple induction; in addition to the understanding and use of different hypnosis techniques and modalities as well as counseling skills used in conjunction with hypnosis. This certificate also requires a jurisprudence class and proof of registration as Registered Psychotherapist in the DORA database.
