The esthetics and cosmetology programs offered at G Skin & Beauty Institute are specially designed to help our students develop attitudes and views that will appreciate the health of skin, hair, and nails, as well as their safety and maintenance. Programs:
COSMETOLOGY PROGRAM
The emphasis of our 1500-hour (1800 hours in Las Vegas) cosmetology programs is from the latest European techniques in hair, skin and make-up. This program has the objectives to prepare you for all aspects of the salon service, helping you to gain the well-formed foundation you need to become a successful cosmetologist.
Once started in our cosmetology programs you will learn the basics of shampooing, cutting and shaping of all hair types, you will also learn about the tools that are used in the salon, sanitation and hygiene.
ESTHETICS PROGRAM
Skin care is one of the fastest growing areas of the beauty industry. Our 750 hour esthetics program is taught in allegiance with the International Dermal Institute. Hair Professional Esthetics students are taught with dermalogica products. Within our curriculum, our students learn about theory and practical knowledge, salon management, body treatments, and make-up.
Once licensed, our graduates work in all area of the skin industry, not only in spas but also for dermatologists and plastic surgeons. Some of our graduates choose to sell or demonstrate skin care products; others are self-employed throughout the skin care industry.
Nail Technology PROGRAM
600 clock hour program
As a student in our nail technology program, you will learn manicuring, pedicuring, and the latest in artificial nail enhancements such as acrylics nails, tips and overlays, silk wraps, gel nails, and creative nail art techniques.
You will begin your education at the introductory level, learning the foundation skills that will prepare you for real life experiences. As you progress through the program, you begin to adapt the fundamental skills you have learned while working with clientele and continuing in classes that are geared to prepare you for the business of working in a salon.
The nail technology program consists of 600 clock hours in classroom and hands-on training:

- Tips and Wraps
- Overlays
- Acrylic Nails
- Gel Nails
- Hand and Foot Massage
- Nail Art
- Sanitation Procedures
- Client Communication Skills
- Business Building Skills
You will also learn all of the advances in artificial nail enhancements, such as acrylic nails, tips, overlays, silk wraps, gel nails and nail art. Through classroom instruction and hands on practical training, you'll gain the skills needed to make your mark as a professional nail technician.
