Hollywood Institute of Beauty Careers was founded in 1974 with a single location in Florida to provide professional training in cosmetology arts, and related beauty and wellness career fields leading to state licensure and/or certification.

Throughout its long and distinguished 35 plus year history, Hollywood Institute of Beauty Careers has remained on the cutting edge of the beauty career industry through innovation and continuously updating and upgrading its curriculum and program offerings to better serve its students. Hollywood Institute of Beauty Careers provides a quality career oriented education through the active participation of its graduates, faculty, staff, advisory board and employers of our graduates.

Today our schools have evolved to become a full Pivot Point member school, which offers the most current and comprehensive career training in Cosmetology, Skin Care, and Nail Technology education. In addition, we also offer diploma programs in Electrology**, Laser Technology** and Massage Therapy, as well as a variety of Continuing Education courses for already licensed practitioners.

In 2002 Hollywood Institute of Beauty Careers achieved nationally accredited status from the National Accrediting Commission of Cosmetology Arts and Sciences (NACCAS). In January 2009 our Miami Beach, Florida location, Hollywood Institute of Beauty Careers-Miami Beach, received its approval as a NACCAS accredited branch of Hollywood Institute of Beauty Careers.
