A Leader in Multimedia Education & Services

The International College of Broadcasting (ICB) offers an opportunity to enter the world of broadcasting, recording, and multimedia with expert training and professionalism.

The need for trained personnel, both behind the scenes and in front of an audience is evidenced by the strong demand for qualified individuals in the technical and highly competitive fields of Radio and Television. As ICB is one of the few colleges in the country offering a two-year intensive training program, the industry counts on its graduates to fill ever present positions in all areas of broadcasting and multimedia.

ICB offers a degree program in Recording and Video Production. Presently, this is only one of a few recording and audio engineering programs being offered at an accredited college in the state. Get hands on training in ICB's modern recording studio with cutting edge recording technology, including a Pro Tools HD system, high performance Mac workstations, high definition cameras and microphones, and the latest in production software.

In addition to quality education and training, ICB also includes a fully capable multimedia and marketing team. Striving to acheive quality service at an affordable price, ICB Productions takes advantage of its expert staff and most talented students, resulting in a valuable asset to businesses looking to develop media for their campaigns. ICB has the tools and means to help you achieve success

The International College of Broadcasting was founded in 1968 and began as a trade and technical school, offering short programs in basic radio and television. These programs were lengthened and enhanced as the technology of the industry evolved. The college underwent a change of ownership in 1988 which resulted in extensive renovation of the facility, acquisition of additional equipment, and a curriculum revision.

In March of 1992, the college completed the construction of a modern recording studio and started offering a new training program in recording and audio engineering. With the music and entertainment indsutry growing at such a rapid pace, it was a natural course for ICB to add this to its program offerings, complimenting the college's excellent broadcasting programs.

ICB is accredited by The Accrediting Commission of Career Schools. The college is authorized by the Ohio State Board of Proprietary School Registration to grant Associate Degrees and Diplomas. ICB has met established criteria and educational standards defined by the US Department of Education, and is approved by the Ohio State Department of Education to train students through the Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation. The college is approved by the State Approving Agency to provide training for Veterans, Veterans' Dependents, and others eligibile to receive VA Educational Benefits.

The program concentrates on audio art as it relates to the traditional music recording industry, and its new partnership with video. Basic and general educational courses enhance the student's technical education and enable students to advance toward career objectives.

The emergence of new technologies and program forms, such as music videos, bring the need for well-rounded, versatile professionals who are trained in both audio and video. The program achieves this through a combination of lecture and in-studio experience, with emphasis placed on 'hands-on' training. Students will learn to take projects from concept to completion.
