At the Keiser University Center for Culinary Arts, you will learn in a creative and supportive environment while you develop a wide range of culinary skills. You’ll work alongside our dedicated professional Chef-Instructors, who have a wealth of real-world experience.

As a student, you’ll learn fundamental culinary theories and concepts and get practical, hands-on training in our professionally equipped teaching kitchens and student externship program. When you graduate, you’ll be well-prepared to start on your path as a culinary professional.

Programs
Associate of Science in Culinary Arts

  • 20 month program provides students with a broad range of culinary theory and practical experience.
  • Gain a solid foundation in preparing, handling, and cooking food.
  • Learn principles of food service production and sanitation,nutrition, American regional cuisine, and baking and pastry.
  • Work closely with our accomplished Chef-Instructors in industry-current kitchens.
  • Gain valuable on-the-job training and opportunities with the Student Externship program.
The A.S. in Culinary Arts program is ideal for those seeking positions in restaurants, hotels, clubs and resorts, and health care organizations.

Associate of Science in Baking and Pastry Arts

  • 20 month program featuring technical and practical experience with skilled instructors on the art and science of baking.
  • Learn how to use the tools and equipment to produce breads, desserts, and pastries.
  • Studies include foodservice sanitation, supervisory procedures, and nutrition.
  • Combine academics and hands-on training in kitchen laboratories along with the Student Externship program.
Graduates can pursue career opportunities at hotels, resorts, bakeries, restaurants, and wholesale pastry shops.
