| Therapeutic Massage (18 Months, Specialized Associate Degree) |
In the therapeutic massage program, we offer an in-depth, comprehensive program that prepares you to work in a variety of areas from spas and resorts to the health and wellness industry. You'll also be prepared to take the national certification exam in massage therapy once you graduate.
MASSAGE MODALITIES INCLUDE:
- Swedish massage
- Sports massage
- Reflexology
- Hydrotherapy
- Spa therapies
- Deep tissue massage
You'll also take courses in anatomy and physiology, customer service, ethics, and practice building. Our clinical classes, developed in conjunction with Nemacolin Woodlands Resort and Spa, are part of this degree program. If you'd like to finish in a shorter time frame, we offer a diploma in Massage Therapy. This two-semester program enables you to develop a thorough mastery of the basic skills you'll need to get started as a massage therapist. Our diploma program also offers a preparation course for the national certification exam. |
