Within less than two years of study, you'll complete 17 health information online courses in subjects including Pharmacology, Pathophsyiology, Health Systems and Procedures, Healthcare Data Applications, and much more. Out Health Information Technology degree program also includes four internships, each designed to focus on specific topics as your knowledge grows, including Health Record Processing, Inpatient Coding, Nontraditional sites, and Health Data Processing. These experiential learning opportunities provide our students with the tools for personal and professional development needed for success in the workplace. You'll benefit from the chance to integrate and apply their theoretical classroom knowledge and technical skills with practical and relevant on-site work experience, leading to increased confidence and invaluable career preparation.
Lincoln College Online's degree programs are offered for online delivery through Lincoln College of New England (located at 2279 Mount Vernon Road, Southington, CT 06489). Lincoln College of New England is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, Inc. (NEASC) through its Commission on Institutions of Higher Education.
