Marinello Schools are approved by the Department of Education to participate in the following Title IV financial aid programs.
Federal Pell Grant: The Federal Pell Grant Program provides a foundation of financial assistance that may be supplemented by other resources.

Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG): Supplemental Grants are based on the funds available and do not have to be repaid.

Federal Work-Study (FWS): FWS enables students to earn money for educational expenses by working on campus or for an off-campus employer assigned by the School.

Federal Stafford Loan (FSL): Formerly the Guaranteed Student Loan (GSL), this low-interest loan is available to qualified students through the lending institutions or agencies participating in the program and is guaranteed by the U.S. government.

Direct Lending Program: The schools participate in the subsidized and unsubsidized Direct Lending Program directly with the Department of Education.

Federal Parent Loan for Undergraduate Students (FPLUS): The Federal Parent Loan for Undergraduate Students (FPLUS) provides additional funds to help parents pay for educational expenses.

Besides the Federal Aid Programs there are third party loans available to qualified students. For students who do not qualify for federal financial aid, Marinello offers a number of flexible installment option plans to fit a student's individual needs.

Marinello Schools are approved for Veterans' benefits programs, and a number of schools have California State administered adult education aid programs.

Marinello students are well prepared to take advantage of one or more of the many exciting opportunities awaiting them upon graduation. The beauty industry has come to expect a high standard of proficiency and excellence in education that causes them to welcome the Marinello graduate.

Once a student graduates from Marinello Schools of Beauty, he/she is well prepared to follow their dreams. Many avenues of employment opportunities are available to qualified individuals in the cosmetology industry. After graduating from one of our beauty schools you are placed in jobs throughout the salon and beauty industry. Never out of style--a career in cosmetology offers outstanding creativity and glamour.

You can work as a stylist; own or manage a salon or a chain of salons; work in the fashion world as a make-up artist or hair designer; work in the field of entertainment for movies, television or the theater; work in the beauty industry as a sales representative; work in education as a teacher, trainer or consultant; travel by working on a cruise ship or anywhere around the world. Marinello provides ALL their graduates with Placement Assistance.

Your actual hands-on vocational experience acquired at Marinello School will prepare you to take advantage of one or more of these careers. Actually working on clients, communications with clients and the experience acquired through Marinello will be of tremendous benefit to your career after you graduate. You will gain the confidence to enable you to move forward in your career.

If the student lives in another country and would like to attend school at Marinello, we do everything possible to make the student's visit and training the best possible. Marinello Schools are approved by the Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) to offer I-20 Visas. Instructors and staff are always anxious to assist students from other countries.

Counseling is always available from any of our staff members. Students from the United States are always eager to learn from a foreign student about life in other places. Students from any country should feel comfortable and at ease in enrolling at Marinello.

Our schools are monitored closely to ensure safety for all students and staff. Our local and foreign students can be comfortable knowing that Marinello campuses are safe and enjoy a friendly environment. Our locations are normally in retail centers and safety is a high priority. Rules and regulations are uniform and all students are expected to abide by our rules at all times.

Upon successful completion of the program, foreign gradutes will be issued the Marinello Diploma. In order to apply for the State Board Test and Licensing, a foreign student must have a valid US Social Security number.
