At the moment and for the foreseeable future, digital content is a part of our everyday life in an increasingly more digital world. The employers of today and tomorrow need people with the skills to develop digital media for it. There are numerous employment and advancement opportunities today that did not exist ten years go, in fields like video game design, 3D animation for gaming and multimedia, web and multimedia authoring, digital publishing and content management, and digital design. The School of Digital Media Arts is the newest academic division of Mildred Elley. Mildred Elley is a private, accredited, degree-granting, co-educational institution of higher education with campuses in Latham, NY and Pittsfield, MA, offering degree and certificate programs in several career-oriented fields of study, as well as corporate training and professional development programs.
Mildred Elley currently offers a diploma program in Graphic Design Technology at its Pittsfield , MA Campus. We have also launched several associate’s degree and diploma programs at our Latham, NY Campus. These programs in Game Design and 3D Animation and Digital Graphics and Multimedia Design have been approved by the Board of Regents of the University of the State of New York /New York State Education Department. |

Game Design & 3D Animation Associate’s Degree
Game Design & 3D Animation Certificate
The programs provide students with skills necessary to obtain entry-level employment in the fields of computer game design and three-dimensional animation through intensive, hands-on training in the industry-standard software, theoretical foundations, drawing skills, and professional practices and entrepreneurship. Graduates will be employed in the field of game design and 3D animation, forensics modeling, accident reconstruction, advertising and digital video production, web design, medical imaging, and many others.
Digital Graphics & Multimedia Design Associate’s Degree
Digital Graphics & Multimedia Design Certificate
The programs in Digital Graphics and Multimedia Design provide students with the skills necessary to obtain entry-level employment in the fields of digital graphics and multimedia design through intensive, hands-on training in the industry-standard software, theoretical foundations of visual communications, drawing skills, and professional practices and entrepreneurship. Graduates will be employed in the fields of graphic design, commercial art, desktop and web publishing, and multimedia design at advertising agencies, design studios, corporate communication departments, web design and multimedia firms, and many others. They will also be prepared for advancement to a four-year program.

Network Administration & Computer Security Certificate
Our IT programs provide training and instruction in computer hardware, software, peripherals, user support, and network administration. IT graduates work as network administrators, network and user support specialists, field technicians, and web programmers.
