NEW YORK COLLEGE OF HEALTH PROFESSIONS

NEW YORK CITY, NY & SYOSSET, LONG ISLAND

New York College of Health Professions, a nonprofit institution, has been a leader in Holistic Health Education for 30 years; merging thousand-year old traditions of Eastern medicine with the future. If you are passionate about improving health and the quality of life for yourself and others, and want a rewarding professional career that’s more than just a job, your success starts here.

The main campus is located in a modern spacious facility in Syosset, Long Island, with 3 additional locations in New York City; on the upper west side near Columbia and Barnard, in the SoHo/Chinatown area on the corner of Houston and Bowery and in midtown on East 30th Street between Fifth and Madison Avenue.

This institution’s history is filled with “firsts”:  the first school approved by New York State to offer a degree in massage therapy; the first degree program in therapeutic bodywork in the U.S. and the first acupuncture and Oriental medicine program approved by the New York State Education Department.

New York College is a premier institution offering nationally accredited undergraduate and graduate programs in some of the fastest growing areas of health care.  Institutionally accredited degree programs include Massage Therapy, Acupuncture, Oriental Medicine and Herbal Medicine. All prepare students to become licensed, successful health care providers.  The student body ranges from those looking to advance their education or adult learners looking to change or augment their careers. Students can attend part-time or full-time in as little as 2 days per week with convenient day, evening or weekend schedules.  Financial Aid and scholarships are available to those qualified.

Graduates from the College are able to work in hospitals, spas, resorts, wellness centers, on cruise ships, with doctors and sports teams – or like so many alumni – start their own business!

There is a future in health care for everyone.  Health care is growing, and Holistic Health Care is the Future!

DEGREE PROGRAMS

The College offers accredited undergraduate and graduate degree programs.  Students can enroll in either an Associate degree program in Massage Therapy, a Bachelor degree program in Advanced Asian Bodywork, or a combined Bachelor/Masters program in Acupuncture or Oriental Medicine. The coursework and hands-on internships treating real patients are designed to both prepare students for their licensing exams, as well as a successful career as a holistic practitioner.

New York College features full-time or part-time schedules; day, evening and weekend classes at all locations that meet the demands of busy lives.  Financial Aid and scholarships are available if you qualify.
