Potomac College
The College That Works For The Working Professional

Potomac College was founded in 1991, to offer career programs leading to the Bachelor of Science degree for in-demand fields.

The college offers something unique in higher education: a concern for the education and career needs of working adults. Potomac College offers convenient times and location, and paces its programs with the working adult in mind, all while providing the experiential learning experience students seek.

The educational philosophy of Potomac College is to address the varied needs and learning styles of the adult student. The college works diligently to create an environment appropriate to adult learning. Our carefully crafted curriculum allows students to be active learners, rather than passive listeners, by integrating student discussions, case studies, and team projects. We offer a variety of student services, and financial aid options – including grants and loans - for those who qualify.

Our programs have been carefully designed to integrate classroom theory with relevant practical experience. Potomac College endeavors to maximize the tools that are available to the students, in order to enable them to succeed in their chosen field.
