President Obama has approved over $19 billion in funding for healthcare technology and electronic medical records, and the field is expected to grow over 20% between 2008 and 2018. In under a year, you can learn how to run practice management software, process insurance claims and medical records, code medical procedures, and assist in the management of a medical practice. After completing your training, you'll be qualified to take the Certified Professional Coder (CPC) exam offered by the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) and seek employment in doctors' offices, hospitals, insurance companies and other healthcare facilities. |
Nursing
