As the first two-year college in the Denver area, Arapaho Community College now boasts over 7,500 students and 70 degree and certificate programs. This Colorado college campus is located on 51-acres in Littleton, adjacent to the downtown area, giving students and faculty panoramic views of the Colorado Rockies and easy access to the city of Denver.
Students at this Colorado college can choose to attend classes on campus or online. In fact, Arapaho Community College says it continues to expand its distance learning offerings in terms of web-based instruction options and other technology. At Arapaho Community College, students work toward two-year degree or certificates in such programs as automotive technology, mortuary science, interior design, and criminal justice.
Too, for the first time ever, the Colorado college is offering classes at neighboring Castle View High School -- Introduction to Business, English Composition and College Trigonometry -- making it easier than ever for students to start or continue their studies at Arapaho Community College.
In fact, Arapahoe Community College's mission is to provide an accessible, responsive learning environment that helps students succeed in their educational, professional and personal goals. As such, the college currently is undergoing a reaccredidation process, giving the faculty a chance to extensively examine and reevaluate the Colorado college's mission, values and goals.

Arapahoe Community College is accredited by the Commission on Institutions of Higher Education of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
In the spring 2006 semester, 6,826 students attended Arapahoe Community College.
A little more than half of Arapahoe Community College students fall in the 18-21 age bracket.
