Baltimore City Community College is a two-year school dedicated to providing opportunities and experiences to its students. With courses in technical training, occupational preparation, and life skills training, as well as degree programs in various subjects -- such as allied health, human services, business, and information technology -- this Maryland college has plenty to offer for individuals at every stage of life and learning.
Baltimore City Community College offers 30 associate degree programs ranging from subjects such as apparel design and legal assisting to dental hygiene and surgical technology. Nearly 30 other fields of study are available at the level of certificate programs. Various courses of study are also available as college transfer programs, meaning that the two years students spend studying at Baltimore City Community College can be put towards earning a bachelor's degree from a tradition four-year degree-granting college of university.
This Maryland college also offers certain courses through distance learning, as well as through a combination of on-campus meetings and online coursework. In addition, the school offers adult education, ESL and GED courses, and provides training courses for interested employers and companies.
