Operating four campuses throughout Alabama, Bevill State Community College has a 23-year history of providing students with low-cost, high-quality education. The school currently offers both liberal arts transfer programs of study as well as technical and vocational programs, all designed to help students transition into their career or next educational step. Students looking to transfer to a four-year institution will have a wide array of Associate in Arts and Associate in Science degree programs at their disposal. Subjects range from English to Religion to History and thanks to transfer agreements with neighboring schools, Bevill State students will be able to make a smooth transition without losing many of their credits. Bevill State Community College supports particularly strong programs in the area of Allied Health. The Sumiton Campus is home to the school's state-of-the-art Allied Health facilities which house programs in nursing, surgical technology, emergency medical technician studies, and assistant nursing.
On the vocational side, Bevill State Community College also offers 13 Associate of Applied Science degree programs and several diploma programs of study to help you hit the job market with a running start. Bevill State Community College's Adult Education Skills Training Division provides customized job and skills training to adults already working in their chosen field and those looking to make a career change.
Bevill State Community College also supports 14 student-led clubs and organizations including a chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, the international honors society for community college students. Students will also find social clubs, campus chapters of professional organizations, volunteer and religious groups on campus as well as a student government association and several student performance groups. Students are also free to use the school-funded fitness centers and join any of the six varsity athletic teams offered on campus. Bevill State Community College also supports a strong cheerleading and dance team and a multi-media library that gives students access to journals and information databases from across the globe.

Each summer Bevill State Community College offers athletic and enrichment camps for students of all ages. This year the school hosted an engineering and technology camp, an arts and music program, and athletic camps in volleyball, baseball, and basketball.
This year two Bevill State Community College students were selected for the All-Academic Alabama team.
The Sumiton Campus is the largest of Bevill State's four campuses.
The Bevill State Community College library subscribes to approximately 250 magazines and 20 journals and newspapers.
