Founded around 40 years ago, the Camden County College has grown from one campus in Blackwood to include additional campuses in Camden, and Cherry Hill. Despite the difference of locations, each campus strives to fulfill the same mission: preparing students to live and work in a global economy. As one of the nation's fastest growing two-year institutions, Camden County College is dedicated to offering its students a wide array of educational and career opportunities. And with over 150 degree and certificate programs to choose from, that isn't hard.

With programs in subjects such as health science, massage therapy, dental assisting, marketing, computer science, dance, and theatre, there's a class to meet most anyone's needs and ambitions.

In fact, according to studies from the U.S. Department of Education, Camden County College ranks among the nation's top hundred community colleges for overall associate degree completion. This New Jersey college also places among the nation's top 10 community colleges for associate degree completion in education.

Camden County College has been accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. Individual programs have also been approved by outside institutions. For example, the dental assisting and dental hygiene programs are accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation, while the animal science program is accredited by the Committee on Veterinary Technician Education and Activities (CVTEA).

Provided that they meet requirements, graduates of Camden County College will find that they are able to transfer their earned credits to traditional four-year colleges and universities.

In 2006, this New Jersey college educated over 22,000 students in credit courses. Since the year of its opening, Camden County College has taught more than 250,000 students.

The majority of Camden County College students reside in New Jersey; the average age of the student body is 27.
