Offering career and academic programs at 13 community colleges throughout the state, the Colorado Community College system should be the first stop in your educational journey. Spanning all of Colorado, the CCC system includes career and technical programs in more than 160 school districts, totaling 1,200 secondary programs and 800 post-secondary programs, and serves more than 116,000 students annually. Designed to fit Colorado's workforce needs, students will find just about any technical program of study imaginable on one of these campuses. The Colorado Community College system currently offers more than 360 career and technical programs of study. While many are two-year associate degree programs, the school also offers shorter one-year or less certificate programs designed to get you into the workforce as quickly as possible. The System operates particularly strong programs in the areas of healthcare, aviation technology, automotive technology, civil drafting, and engineering technology and has a high career placement rate for graduates. The System also provides unique signature programs in areas such as aquaculture technology, mortuary science, horse training management, and gun smithing for interested students.

In addition to offering technical programs of study, the Colorado Community College system also offers non-credit development courses, on and off-site customized training programs, and continuing education courses to fit the educational needs of the Colorado community. Students looking to transfer to a four-year institution will find great preparation on Colorado Community College campuses. In 2005, the System sent 4,000+ students to four-year institutions thanks to transfer agreements with local colleges and universities.

After classes are through, each of the 13 campuses offer their own extracurricular programs including athletic events, cultural presentations, and social events. Some campuses also offer on-campus housing to students and all campuses offer their own student clubs. Each campus also offers its own unique academic support programs. Though programs vary from school to school, most Colorado Community College campuses offer academic and transfer advising, tutoring, financial aid counseling, first-year orientation programs, and on-campus computer labs.
