The Community College of Aurora enjoys status as part of the esteemed Colorado Community College System. With two campuses located in Lowry and CentreTech Parkway, Colorado, the Community College of Aurora is able to offer more than 40 different degree and certificate programs to students. From certificates in criminal justice, film/video technology, and paralegal studies, to associate degrees in accounting, marketing, and computer information studies, this school has options to suit most anyone's needs.

The Community College of Aurora doesn't just have a wide variety of classes, though. This Colorado college also offers course formats and program schedules that are designed to enable students from all walks of life to attend -- no matter what their age or work schedule demands. That's because -- in addition to regular weekday, on-campus classes -- the Community College of Aurora offers online-only courses as well as classes that are available during the evening and/or weekend. Just as flexible are the programs that are taught through a combination of online and real-life instruction.

Ambitious students who have completed their programs, may choose to transfer their earned credits to traditional four-year colleges and universities. Although course transfer agreements differ from college to college, a student is guaranteed transfer if, according to the Colorado Community College System, s/he has completed the 60+60 Bachelor's Degree Transfer Program and has attained an Associate of Art of Associate of Science degree, with no lower than a C in each class.
