The Community College of Vermont (CCV) is a unique learning institution that provides quality, affordable education to over 10,000 students each year. Although Community College of Vermont does not have a central campus with housing facilities, CCV serves students where they live and work at 12 educational centers around the state and online.
CCV's learning facilities are located in Bennington, Brattleboro, Middlebury, Montpelier, Morrisville, Newport, Rutland, Springfield, St. Albans, St. Johnsbury, Upper Valley, and Winooski (serving greater Burlington), with central administration residing in Montpelier. Each location is staffed with financial aid counselors and academic advisors as well as being furnished with computer labs, classrooms, and learning centers where student can get extra help. Regardless of where you choose to attend, you will discover similar opportunities and amenities at each site.
Once enrolled at the Community College of Vermont, students can choose from 18 associate degree programs and 12 career certificate programs. Students have the opportunity to study in a variety of subjects, including Environmental Science, Human Services, Criminal Justice, Business, Liberal Studies, and Visual Art.
Fifty percent of CCV graduates continue their education beyond the associate degree, and CCV students find their credits are accepted at most other colleges. CCV has articulation agreements with many other colleges that will help you in the process of transferring credits, and CCV academic advisors are available to assist you throughout the transfer process.
