Daytona Beach Community College (DBCC) offers a variety of non-traditional scheduling formats, to students. "College Your Way" is the motto of Daytona Beach Community College. These non-traditional approaches to traditional education are designed for individuals with busy lives; they can choose more convenient schedules such as those offered by the Fast-Track, Half and Half, Sunrise, Telecourses, Virtual College, Web Enhanced, Weekend College courses.

Fast-Track courses are the same college credit courses that are offered during Daytona Beach Community College's traditional 16 week semesters, only they are condensed into seven or eight weeks. Half & Half courses combine the advantages of traditional classes and Distance Education. Classes usually meet only once per week for one and one half hours. The other hours are time that students spend at home working with either video tapes or with their computers. Daytona Beach Community College's approach offers the advantages of meeting once a week with a professor and fellow classmates to have your questions answered and to receive traditional instruction. The work at home is on a student's own time schedule. For "morning people," there is the opportunity to fit college credit courses into a busy schedule. DBCC offers Sunrise courses starting at 7 a.m. for people who cannot fit college into a traditional schedule. Finally, Through the Virtual College, students may obtain degrees/certificates without having to physically appear on campus.
