Servicing students from across Monroe County, Florida Keys specializing in providing one and two-year educational programs designed to fit your career and professional goals. Thanks to the school's beachy location, students have access to marine programs not available on most community college campuses. Florida Keys signature programs of study include Diving Business and Technology, Marine Environmental Technology, and Swimming and Physical Education.

Students looking for a more traditional degree program will find those on campus as well. Florida Keys Community College offers two-year Associate in Arts, Science, and Applied Science degree programs in fields ranging from general studies to criminal justice technology. With an associate degree, students may choose to either go directly into the working world upon completion of their degree program or transfer to a four-year university. The school also offers vocational certificates and an applied technical diploma program in the area of emergency medical technician studies. One of Florida Keys Community College's strongest programs is its Basic Law Enforcement Academy. Students looking to enter the law enforcement fields may complete an academic program of study as well as a 770-hour basic recruit training course. The Basic Law Enforcement Academy also allows students to specialize in a particular field of law enforcement such as correctional or auxiliary officer training.

You don't have to be college age to enter Florida Keys Community College. The school operates an extensive dual enrollment program in partnership with area high schools as well as an early admissions program for high school students. Florida Keys Community College's continuing education department provides non-credited personal development courses held both on the central Monroe campus as well as at area high schools. Students from across the country are welcome to enroll in the school's distance learning courses. Offering classes via videotape, videoconference, and online, distance learning options provide motivated learners with the opportunity to complete their degree anytime, from anywhere.
