Located on 332 acres in Maryland, Harford Community College (HCC) enrolls approximately 7,600 students in degree and certificate programs each year and over 14,000 students in noncredit courses. HCC seeks to provide high quality education that is accessible to the community and will promote academic, personal, and professional growth. The college awards Associate of Arts, Associate of Sciences, Associate of Applied Sciences, and Associate of Arts in Teaching degrees through dozens of different programs. University transfer programs are in place for students who wish to transfer into four-year universities. In addition, Harford Community College also offers certificate programs and gears them toward specific occupational fields in order to promote professional development in the community.
Student life at Harford Community College can be full of rewarding and enriching experiences. There are over 30 clubs and organizations in which students can get involved. From Gamers Guild to Student Government Association to Outdoor Adventure Club and many more, there is a group for everyone to enjoy. While there are fitness and recreation facilities and intramural sports, there are 12 intercollegiate teams for full-time and part-time students who are looking to compete in organized sports. The College Life & Wellness Office can help students join a club, get involved in volunteering, or find the information they need to participate in the exciting activities that abound on the Harford Community College campus.
