Laramie County Community College is a learner-centered college that promotes social and economic prosperity through the exceptional opportunities it offers its students and community members. A full-service, comprehensive community college, Laramie County Community College has campuses in both Cheyenne and Laramie as well as outreach centers at F.E. Warren Air Force Base and in Pine Bluffs. The main campus, located in Cheyenne, is set among a sprawling 271 acres and includes state-of-the-art facilities such as Smart Classrooms, a physical education complex, a science complex and many others.
At Laramie County Community College, it's about the students. Laramie County Community College has 72 academic programs that lead to associate degrees and 15 career programs that offer certificates of completion. LCCC courses in general education development, English as a Second Language and career skills are also available for students looking to improve both their personal and professional abilities. With short courses for busy adults in addition to evening, weekend, and Internet classes offered, Laramie County Community College makes learning as accessible as possible for all students.
Student life outside of the classroom is just as impressive as the happenings inside the classroom at Laramie County Community College. LCCC has 25 on-campus clubs and teams, ranging from intercollegiate sports to agricultural clubs to the speech and debate team and a variety of others. And for Laramie County Community College students interested in outdoor activities, the beautiful city of Cheyenne is in close proximity to a host of lakes, rivers, forest, and mountains. For LCCC students who aren't quite as adventurous, activities like dining, shopping, and touring can be found throughout Cheyenne as well.
