Linn Benton Community College was established over 40 years ago to meet the needs of the residents of Linn and Benn counties, just outside of Albany, Oregon. The 104-acre Linn Benton Community College campus includes state-of-the-art facilities and contemporary buildings, and LBCC is proud to employ highly-qualified and dedicated faculty members and administrators. All of these factors allow for learner-centered and life-changing experiences to occur at LBCC.

Linn Benton Community College is committed to changing the lives of its students and its community as well. To meet the diverse needs of the student body, LBCC offers a range of educational opportunities. General education, distance education, continuing education, and adult basic education are just some of the programs and courses available to help Linn Benton Community College students reach their educational goals. And, with more than 60 professional technical programs, guided by 467 community/industry members, vocational training for a wide range of career fields enables LBCC students to prepare for immediate employment in the community and elsewhere.

Special services are available for the community surrounding Linn Benton Community College. The Business and Employer Services department at LBCC meets the needs of local businesses and industries while the Family Resources and Education Division helps strengthen families. In addition, the Cooperative Work Experience and Service Learning program as well as the Life and Employment Development services at Linn Benton Community College provide practical work experiences and skills in securing a job that are invaluable assets. At Linn Benton Community College students are able to write their own story by partaking in learning that will change their lives.
