Founded in 1961, MassBay Community College is a public two-year institution of higher learning located in Massachusetts. The New England Association of Schools and Colleges has accredited MassBay Community College (NEASC).
Individual programs and courses have also been accredited by outside institutions. For example, the physical therapy program has been accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE), while the radiologic technology program has been the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).
This Massachusetts college offers flexible scheduling. Students can take classes at night, on Saturdays, via the Internet, and on a part-time basis.
Students who enroll in the Joint Admissions Program will find that they are guaranteed admission to the University of Massachusetts, as well as seven state colleges.
MassBay Community College has campuses in Wellesley Hills and Framingham, in addition to the Technology Center in Ashland.
