Pasco-Hernando Community College is a relatively new college to grace the Florida peninsula. Founded in 1967, the College says it combines high-tech education facilities and state-of-the-art programs with an old-fashioned focus on teaching.
The Florida college's associate degree programs focuses on the arts and sciences with a choice of major emphasis in teaching, business, engineering and the social and behavioral sciences, as well as training in healthcare, law, business, and human services through its certificate programs. In addition, degrees from Pasco-Hernando Community College come with guaranteed admission into one of Florida's 11 public universities with a junior standing. Pasco-Hernando Community College also offers GED preparation classes.
Students at this Florida college can attend classes during the day, evening, weekend at one of Pasco-Hernando Community College's four campuses in Brooksville, Dade City, New Port Richey and Spring Hill or even at home, through online courses.
