PO Box 9000

Springfield, MA 01102-9000

Founded in 1967, Springfield Technical Community College is the only technical community college in the state of Massachusetts. Its mission is to stand as a leader in technology and instructional innovation, while offering the right educational opportunities in order to transform the lives of community members. In order to fulfill this mission, Springfield Technical Community College offers nearly 90 different degree and certificate programs to students.

In order to accommodate students who plan to one day attain a bachelor's degree from a traditional four-year college or university, Springfield Technical Community College has formed individual transfer agreements with prestigious institutions throughout the state. Provided that students attain good grades while at Springfield Technical Community College, they will be automatically accepted for a transfer to any Massachusetts state college or university. The transfer agreement also ensures that courses taken at Springfield Technical Community College will be considered as equivalent to those available at the second institution, and accredited as such.
