Westmoreland County Community College is committed to providing access to quality educational opportunities that meet the diverse needs and interests of the communities we serve. Westmoreland County Community College students can select from a variety of degree, diploma and certificate programs.

The Pennsylvania school offers 57 associate degree programs, 11 diploma programs, and 39 certificate programs that can provide you with the education and skills needed to enter the workforce immediately upon graduation. Or, a student can enroll in the associate of arts degree program, which parallels the first two years of a bachelor's degree, and then transfer credits to a four-year university. Articulation agreements with numerous colleges and universities will help to ease the transfer process.

Three new programs have been added to the curriculum at this Pennsylvania school. An associate degree in Nutritional Services Management, an option of Dietetic Technology, will prepare students for careers in nutrition care or food service management. A nine-credit Early Childhood Education Director Certificate will provide early childhood education personnel with a solid knowledge and understanding of the role of an early childhood director. The Library Science certificate program at Westmoreland County Community College will prepare students to work in libraries or information centers in a variety of settings by providing a foundation in library technical services, the use of collections, classification systems, references and resources, and management.
