For all things health care, Apollo College has something for students ready to step into today's hottest industries, be it in medical billing, cleaning teeth, treating animals, or helping heal human patients either medically or through massage.

The health care field is a growing industry, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. In 2006, it was the largest industry and seven out of 20 of the fastest growing occupations find their home within the health care field. Health care professionals work in a variety of locations, including hospitals, clinics, offices, spas, rehabilitation centers, and more. The salaries for those in the health care field vary from job to job, depending on your health care degree and your experience.

Over the past 30+ years, Apollo College HAS graduated more than 50,000 students into the health care profession. With nine campus locations throughout the western United States, there are a variety of options for those who want to pursue their health care education at Apollo College. Most of these locations are in big cities, like Las Vegas, Albuquerque, and Spokane, among others.

Apollo College is looking for specific criteria in their prospective students. Without question, students must have a high school diploma or GED or pass an ability exam. Students admitted to Apollo College have shown an interest in the health care school's philosophy: "Successful training can lead to a positive and successful career."

There are a variety of subjects offered to students of Apollo College. The main subjects of this health care school include medical, dental, veterinary, and health and fitness. No matter what particular program Apollo College students choose, they receive a top-notch education that includes not only classroom lectures, but also clinical and practical experience. Apollo College is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools to award the Associate of Science degree, Associate of Occupational Studies degree, diplomas, and certificates.
