Indiana

Indiana's main attraction, Indianapolis, is the amateur sports capital of the world, where serious Indiana college and university sports fans can blow off some major steam. In May and August, the capital city attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors for the Indy 500 and the Brickyard 400. During events like these, Indiana college and university students can test drive summer internships in hotel management and automotive technology.

Indianapolis is also home to a few notable art museums as well as locally owned and operated art galleries - a great source of community for future artists and designers. And animal science and marine biology majors can draw inspiration from the Indianapolis Zoo, home of the world's first fully submerged, interactive dolphin exhibition.

If you're looking for more of a small-town feel, Bloomington can be your home away from home. When you're in Fort Wayne, visit the Allen County Courthouse for an up-close study of fine art, architecture, and criminal justice. In Jeffersonville, you can't miss the Colgate Clock, the second largest timepiece in the world and a major southern Indiana landmark. Indiana colleges and universities boast big-city thrills, small-town comfort, and plenty of Midwestern charm.
