As the largest of all the New England states, Maine has a lot to offer students who attend Maine colleges and universities. While Maine is known for its coastal beauty, access to boating and fishing adventures on its lakes and ponds, and quaint port towns with towering lighthouses, it also provides a big city atmosphere in towns like Rockland and Portland for college students looking for employment or just a night out on the town.
