When you picture the college experience, with its Ivy-covered walls, hallowed halls, and treelined campuses, you could very well be visualizing almost any of the colleges and universities in Massachusetts. The New England state is home to some of the country's most beautiful and prestigious colleges and universities in cities from Cambridge to Boston. There's no doubt that students flock to Massachusetts colleges and universities for the quintessential college experience.

Massachusetts colleges have much to offer not only on their sprawling campuses, but for the education that can be attained in the state's historic (remember the Boston Tea Party?) and cultural areas (don't miss the Museum of Fine Art or the sounds of the Massachusetts Symphony Orchestra). For recreation after a tough round of exams, students can head to Cape Cod, Nantucket, or Martha's Vineyard to go sailing, or take in a Boston Red Sox game at historic Fenway Park. With so many Massachusetts colleges and universities to choose from, students can find their niche, and may just decide to call Massachusetts their new home.
